Jesus' Appearance in Galilee - Conclusion

John's gospel concludes with an episode that highlights his stated intent in writing his account, namely authentic, living faith in the Messiah he revealed. John shows here that this faith consists in devoted discipleship animated and directed by a new kind of love - the love that is "yes and amen" in Jesus Himself.
