Fruit of the Tomb

WSC #15: What was the sin whereby our first parents fell from the estate wherein they were created? The sin, whereby our first parents fell from the estate wherein they were created, was their eating the forbidden fruit.

Aim: To recognize both the forbidden fruit and the fruit that bids us to take and eat.

Doctrine: God is judge of all covenant faithlessness; He blesses covenant faithfulness.

Exposition: The tables of the covenant: the table of God (vv. 1-10), the table of man (vv. 11-25), and the table of promise (vv. 26-32).

Application: Acknowledge the Judge by being buried in baptism and eating regularly of the Lord's Supper.
