Life in Perilous Times

The Bible speaks of a time of almost universal departure from God and God’s ways, a time of rebellion wrapped in religion. That time is now – not in the distant future: “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come...” 2 Timothy 3:1 (NKJV) Just like the Apostle Paul, you and I live in “the last days...,” the season between Christ’s first and second coming, a season of increasing evil, deception and hypocrisy. Just like Timothy, you and I are divinely appointed to live in such times. We’ve been set apart by God to contend for the faith -- depending not on our own strength and wisdom, but the Spirit and Word of God Himself.
