True and False Shame

You may be tempted to compromise God's law and yield to worldly plans in order to avoid shame, but this is temptation to sinful pride. There is much greater shame and guilt in not trusting God for help; yet God is faithful and merciful and will preserve believers and their offspring, according to His good will.
