Appearances are Deceiving: Fear God!

We read a beautiful poem and defense of order in the universe (Ecc 3:1-8) with a statement of beauty and transcendence in Ecc 3:11.

But the narrative in Ecc 3:16 takes a turn with evident injustice. These negative observations will continue in Ecc 4.

But Ecc 5 will caution the reader not to misread his world and think that God is lax concerning righteousness. Qoheleth will admonish us to fear God and embrace our portion in life with joy.
