Respect & Esteem Your Pastors

What is significant about our pastors? Why are they due any special honor or respect? Aren't they just men like us. Oh how sad it would be if that is really how we viewed these men. Today we will dissect two very important versus here at the end of 1 Thessalonians. As Paul begins to close his letter, he exhorts the Thessalonians to place themselves under the proper authority of the pastors that God has placed over them. The pastors of our congregations carry a GREAT weight for us, and have a tremendous responsibility. I pray that we all give them the due respect that they should be honored with. And present them with the submissive spirit that God calls us to. Listen today as we all are reminded of this great lesson.
