IV. The Grace of Tithing

Clearly the Apostle Paul was inspired to instruct the church that those who minister the Word of God to the church deserved the support of the people through the Tithe just as the Levitical Priests deserved that Tithe by command of God. It is ludicrous and unscriptural to propose that those who work full time in ministry should support themselves. They shepherd the local church, administrate the ministries of the local church, pray for the people of the local church and their ministries, study the Word so as to equip the people for the “work of the ministry,” and preach the Word as the vehicle God uses to advance decisions toward spiritual growth. They are somehow supposed to support themselves financially as well?
