An Appetite for God

Kind David penned this psalm while on the run from his son Absalom who had just ursurped the throne. Of the things that David could have desired at the time, the return of his kingdom, his personal safety, it was his thirst for God that was the focus of this psalm. He showed his thirst for God was born out of a close relationship with God and born out of faith in what God has done in the past and a future vindication.
