The Old Hammer of the Gospel

God has chosen the Gospel as the means by which sinners can be brought to Him for salvation; not entertaining singers, not stained glass, beautiful decorations, or dazzling special effects. God chose to use the Gospel. As Spurgeon said, “the old hammer of the Gospel will still break the rock in pieces.”
