Should We Ask Jesus Into Our Heart?

Many unbiblical phrases have an aspect of truth in them. While the Bible never tells us to ask Jesus into our heart, it does tell us the Christ dwells in our hearts by way of the Holy Spirit. This message addresses the commonly misunderstood passage of Revelation 3:20 that speaks of Jesus knocking at the door. By examining the context of the passage, we see he is not knocking on a heart, nor is he addressing unbelievers. He is addressing the lukewarm church of Laodicea, calling them to repent of their sins.
