Ready for the Day of Christ

Much of what it means to have Christ as our life will not be seen until the 'Day of Christ'—when he returns. At present, the world doesn't think Christ is much of a life! So, we need to pray for each other to be ready for the 'long haul'. We need this time to be ready for the great day. And the hope of Christ's appearing is exactly what keeps us focused on what is important now.
