The Wise and Foolish Virgins Compared and Contrasted

Our Lord continues to drive home the truth that we must constantly view His Return as imminent. He speaks of ten virgins who form a part of the wedding procession of the Great Bridegroom. Five are wise, but five are foolish. Five are prepared, but five are unprepared for the Lord's return. Whatever can this parable mean? There are two kinds of professing Christians, the wise and the foolish. The regenerate and the unregenerate. The true disciples, and the disciples in name only.
