Who Do You Say That I Am?

In our consideration of Mark, we come to the central part where the disciples come to a marvelous confession. However, when Jesus begins to teach them, they show that they are not ready to receive this instruction and therefore will need a severe rebuke. We also need to learn as the disciples to confess rightly who Christ is and what it means to take up our crosses and follow him.
