It is God’s love for us that causes us to be obedient to the Word of God, Christ’s teachings. Because God loves us then we will love Him by keeping His commands. He has poured His love out into our hearts by the Person of The Holy Spirit, to come alongside and guides us in The Father’s commands that were spoken through The Son. God loves us and empowers us to love Him via obedience.
