David Sat Before The Lord

In 2 Samuel 7, God made promises to David that furthered the progression of the Abrahamic covenant. In response, David prays before the Lord, in the tent where the ark is -- a privilege normally granted only to the high priest. In this way, David is shown to be a type of Christ. David's prayer reflected humility, honor of God, praise for God, and faith.
