The Plot to Kill Lazarus

One often hears from atheists and theological liberals that they would believe if they could see the miracles done by Jesus. "If we had EVIDENCE we'd believe", they say. But the testimony of the bible is that when Jesus did do miracles before many witnesses such as the raising of Lazarus from the dead, the liberals and atheists of his day still refused to believe in Him.

The fact is the last thing they WANT is evidence that Jesus is the Messiah, and when such evidence is presented they will go out of their way to get rid of it. In the case of Lazarus this meant plotting to kill him and thus remove an "inconvenient truth."
