The Coming of the Lord

(1) The Continuing Saga of the Birth of Christ. Expositional teaching through this portion of Luke 2 as Joseph and Mary fulfill the requirements of Leviticus 12 in circumcising Jesus on the 8th day and presenting Him before the Lord 33 days later. (2) The Cross of Christ as prophetic types within the passages... oh that's right! all Scripture must be understood through the Cross (Isaiah 1:18). (3) The Coming of the Lord as His return is imminent through the prophetic types offered by Simeon and Anna in the Lord's presentation at the Temple in Jerusalem.
