Drowning in Hypocrisy

Closing Thought: "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy." These self-righteous, Old Testament scholars were drowning in their hypocrisy. They were more concerned with Jesus following the rules than they were about the suffering of a man made in the image of God. More concerned with following their laws concerning the Sabbath than another man, made in the image of God, receiving rest from his malady. Beloved, we are to repent of any hypocrisy in our own lives, and be prepared to confront others who are self-righteous hypocrites who don't know Christ as Lord.
