Look to Me and Be Saved…

42

There are some significant parallels in our anointing, assignment, authority and affirmation in building God's kingdom and freeing His sheep, through the gospel, that can be found in the agenda given to King Cyrus. When you can, go soak up Isaiah 45 and 44 and then let it marinate deep into every fabric of your being.

"I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways. He shall build My city and let My exiles go free, not for price nor reward, says the Lord of host." (Isaiah 45:13)

We in the kingdom of God are anointed, called, strengthened and directed by the Lord to be consumed with His purpose.

We are to build His people.
We are to go free His sheep.
We are doing it for God's glory and their good and not for personal gain.

For God said to Cyrus...

"I have called you... I will gird you... that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me." (Isaiah 45:6)

Glory... may every aspect and dynamic of our lives be in the spirit of worship, fed by God's truth and led by the Spirit of God, that places and proclaims an uncommon worth and value for and upon our great and gracious God, King, Redeemer and Shepherd, a worth that super exceeds the value of all other things in our lives. We place and proclaim our value of Him with our lives everyday. Lifestyle worship is an expression of our understanding of His worth and value. He is far more worthy than we can express, estimate or proclaim. And what flows out of our daily lives will pour into our corporate worship with our faith family. And how our corporate worship grows in grace and truth, with our brethren, will overflow into our way of living.
