The Valleys of Life

The pathways of the shadow of death are just as much God's will for your life as are the green pastures and still waters. Every "valley" and "Shadow" in the Bible refers to trials, tribulations, troubles as if they led to death but do not. God either allows or even initiates them so that we can grow in grace and knowledge or for God to use us in someone else's life. These times are God's merciful tools to bring us to brokenness and to put our trust in Him alone.
When we are in the darkest places the light of God shines the brightest. That's when we really discover who God is in our lives.
