Hospitality and the People of God

The Bible tells us that before the LORD visited Sodom he visited Abraham and Sarah (Gen 18). Abraham's hospitality towards the LORD is remarkable in contrast to their later reception in Sodom. Hospitality, the Bible teaches, is a distinguishing mark of believers. It's the difference between the godly and the wicked. In the final judgment, Jesus will judge people based on how they received/practiced hospitality towards His people, the Church.
