Be Real!

The people of Israel had become jaded in their devotion to the Lord. Worship just was not the same. The Work of God, the Will of God, and the Word of God did not satisfy them.

The problem was that they had a higher view of themselves, rather than a high view of their Great King! The old expression, “The more things change, the more they stay the same,” rang true for them, as it rings true for us today.

By nature, we are selfish sinners, focused upon our needs, rather than on the sufficiency of Jesus Christ, and His perfect sacrifice. We must trust in the Work, Will, and Word of God today!
