Why Jeremiah Had No Social Life

Jeremiah had no social life because God had commanded him not to marry, not to go to the house of mourning, not to go to celebrations, but that meant his life was devoted wholeheartedly to the Lord. His secluded life was a living sermon. If people asked why he was single or why he didn't come to a party, it gave him the opportunity to point them to God's coming judgment.

But what about us? Are we to live life in this way?
