Resident Aliens

The apostle Paul reminds us in this text that while we reside in this earthly kingdom we are in reality ciitzens of another. As believers we are already citizens of Christ's heavenly kingdom and our loyalties are to it above all alse. We reside here and must interact with this earthly society but as resident aliens we will never fit here comfortably because our loves, desires and loyalties are of and to Christ's kingdom, our city and home.
