It's Not About Self-Loathing

There is a danger when people start dictating to Christians what their repentance is supposed to look like, because too many people will want to replicate what that other individual expects to see, as opposed to what God needs to see.
Sanctification is a process that will continue as long as I live on this planet. It will not stop because I will never arrive at perfection in this life. There will always be something in my life for God to get rid of, or to fix, or change. He will never be done with me in this life. It will only be when I stand before Him in the next life, that my sin nature will be gone, this corruptible body will be replaced with the incorruptible and I will praise and worship in absolute Spirit and Truth. What I do in this life is a poor reflection of the reality that will be in the next life.
