Judgment and Mercy

As we continue these several chapters of mercy upon the true Israel of God and judgment upon the nations, we see here how God's judgment upon the wicked is a blessing to His people, just like violence to a cancer is health to the one from whom the cancer is taken.

Particularly we see here that, no matter how strong, powerful, rich, and clever the wicked nations and peoples may be, they are nothing to God's King, Jesus. Secondly, we see God's tender care for His people, making them to grow and fill the earth, to His glory.
