Psalm 105 retells the story of salvation from Abraham to Joshua.

Psalms 105 and 106 cover much of the same ground – but they are very different in nature. Psalm 105 is the good parts version – you might say – there is no reference to Israel’s sin or grumbling.

The focus of Psalm 105 is on what God has done. Notice the relentless use of the third person singular: "He is the LORD… He remembers his covenant…He sent Moses..."
