The Entrance of Death

The first murder recorded in Scripture is also the first death on record.
Noted professor, theologian and author Dr. John Whitcomb will take us back to that scene in Genesis 4 this week on “Encounter God’s Truth.”
Our speaker will explain how the sacrifices brought by two brothers, Cain and Abel, were the background for this crime, and he will delve into the reasons why the New Testament draws on this episode several times in providing lessons for us today.
This is all part of a brand new signature teaching series from Dr. Whitcomb called, “Genesis—History of Beginnings.”
At the end of the program, host Wayne Shepherd asks Dr. Whitcomb to revisit the famous question that Cain asked: “Am I my brother’s keeper?” How should we respond to this question in our own lives?
