Radical Nonconformity - This 'Age'

Paul has made it clear that Christians are called to the task of constantly offering the bodies in the service of their Lord. But what does that involve? How does one effectively offer their body in a living, holy and acceptable manner? The answer begins to be given in both a negative and positive command — do not be conformed to this age and be transformed in your mind.

The problem, however, is that too many Christians have a very weak grasp of what worldliness actually looks like. In fact, often the very things that would define the spirit of this age are eagerly practiced in ignorance by believers, who put too much hope in them. Therefore, in this first of a series of sermons on the nature of not being conformed to this age, Pastor Henry seeks to show that the essence of this age can be summed up in one word, futility and therefore no believer should allow their hearts to be established here and now.
