Having been taken in at first by the promotional material supplied by the movies producers, further investigation and reflection led to the conclusion that Faith comes by hearing, not by Roman Catholic Passion Plays. What is missing from Mel Gibson's movie is Christ's real suffering. What's more, a Christian armed with the true gospel is far more powerful than any media presentation that breaks the spirit of the second commandment.
