Suffering and Sifting

When the God of all grace brings you in, through and out of the suffering, that His Son can work in, through and out of you to strengthen your brethren. As Peter would say;

"...After you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strength and settle you. To Him be (the credit for it all) the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen" (1 Peter 5:9-11)

You wouldn't give your flesh any credit for your salvation or sanctification and you shouldn't ever give the enemy any credit or glory for doing God's work... even when your the subject of his sifting or buffeting. Glory and dominion over you, in every aspect of life, belongs to your faithful and trustworthy Creator, the God of ALL grace and Overseer of your souls.

My prayer for you...

"Now may the God of peace (the Father) who brought up our Lord Jesus (His Son) from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep (who sacrificially and specifically laid down His life for His sheep, that they could be His very own), through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you (His sheep) complete in every good work to do His will (the Father), working in you (by His Spirit) what is well pleasing in His sight (furnishing all the sheep need), through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen." (Hebrews 13:20-21)
