The Trials of Jacob - God's Covenant

Jacob is beginning to reap that which he sowed. There are consequences for sin. We need to judge ourselves in Jacob. Jacob is being chastised by God. When we go against the word of God we later regret it. God forgives but there are still consequences. Jacob must have been reminded of his own deceptions.
