Life in Perilous Times: Trusting in God's Word

“All Scripture is inspired by God and... God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT) God’s Word is true... needful... powerful. It’s the primary means of God making us useful to Him. So it’s no surprise that Satan attacks the veracity of God’s Word. He’s done this since the serpent hissed at Eve, “Has God indeed said...?” Still today, the enemy uses false messages to tempt us to live in “a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” The Word of God leads us to salvation, and is used by the Holy Spirit to make us instruments in our Savior’s hand.
