Passing On the Promises

The life of genuine, saving faith begins at a point in time and continues throughout eternity. This faith believes in God and trusts His Word with anticipation of Him fulfilling and accomplishing His plans and purposes exactly as He promised. This life of faith and trust in God's Word is demonstrated by commitment to Him and obedience to His Word. On this basis of confidence in God's Word it is in hope that the believer holds on to the promises of God seeing some of their future fulfillment 'from a distance'. Such a life of faith with this hope is testified to by the lives of those whom attention is drawn in this section of the writer's 'hall of faith'.
