A faith that refuses

“Refuse” means to reject or more specifically in this verse to refuse someone. We all are gonna have to make a choice, to refuse or accept. The choice is us up to each individual. The decision may lead to some hardship, even share in persecutions. At times that seems so senseless; after all there is pleasure in sin for a season. This enjoyment covers the hook that'll catch someone every time. Thus the need to, through faith, refuse to indulge in those things. A choice must be made every time. We need to turn our eyes away from everything else and focus on one thing. When we look away from the pleasures of this world and look to the payment God has for us we have something to truly get excited about. We may have to go through some ugly stuff down here but it's going to get better. But the refusal needs to be made first. We need a faith that refuses the enemy and embraces the savior. Have we made that refusal yet? Can we be like Moses, count the cost and choose what is right?
