Drawing Near To Your Child – Lecture Eight

Part Eight of a eight part series presented to Grace Bible Church of Killeen, Texas in conjunction with The Navigator's Military ministry. Drawing near to your child in a Biblical manner mirrors the values of God the Father. As we as earthly fathers, draw near to our child in a Biblical manner we lay the ground work in their lives for recognizing as adults their heavenly Father's love and concern for them. The world presents many models and principles for dysfunctional family intimacy. In this lecture Rev. Mahon presents a Biblical model of drawing near to our children through discipline, success, play and affection and letting go. For a child to live in a right relationship with God, the child must live in obedience and honor of his parents. For parents to correctly train and discipline a child they must live in obedience to the Word of God. In this seminar, taught in over 22 countries Rev.
