The Major Issue in the Death of the Western Faith

Today's Christian learns spite for the laws requiring the death penalty for homosexuals, spite for God's law concerning slaves, spite for God's laws concerning women, spite for God's law concerning cross-dressing, spite for the mention of God's law, spite concerning God's laws relating to beards, protective fences. "It's all legalism. It's all a bunch of Neanderthal Old Testament irrelevance. . . "

What if God gets irritated with people who despise His laws? This is why God destroyed Judah in BC 600, and Jesus seemed a little irritated with Israel in AD30 (and AD 70), when they displaced His law on the execution of the rebellious child with their own traditions.

Could this be the root problem with modern day Christianity in the west?
