A New Exodus

The heart of this message is to tell us that where the power of death is broken, the dominion of Satan is destroyed. Jesus undertakes the work of setting his people free from the dominion of Satan through the event of a new exodus, in which Jesus himself is the new Passover Lamb, the greater Moses, and the one who leads us to a better resting place on the basis of a new covenant.
