Sermon 7: Progressing violently in personal holiness

There are seven key issues discussed here, facts and attitudes with which the newly committed (and even seasoned) soldier can arm himself. My late, respected brother Wayne, who progressed admirably in holy violence out of drug addiction into personal holiness by the empowering grace of God is put before the hearer as a real life example from today.

This is a series of 8 sermons preached at The Manger Care Centre in Benoni. It puts forward some biblical perspectives on addictions. In this series I leaned heavily on the work of the respected Dr. Edward T. Welch in his excellent book "Addictions—A Banquet in the Grave" (P&R).
