Sermon 4: Warning: You dare not disregard Jesus by domesticating and underestimating Him

This sermon is set on the lovely Jesus. It aims to raise the eyes of the addict and the eyes of the sinner dogged by sinful desires to the breathtaking beauties of God Incarnate, Jesus Christ. It puts Jesus before the eyes of the struggler as a beacon of hope.

This is a series of 8 sermons preached at The Manger Care Centre in Benoni. It puts forward some biblical perspectives on addictions. In this series I leaned heavily on the work of the respected Dr. Edward T. Welch in his excellent book "Addictions—A Banquet in the Grave" (P&R).
