Sermon 2: If you are an addict you are a voluntary slave with the hope of freedom

This sermon explores the concept of the addict as a victim. After making some conclusions on that issue, it goes on to offer hope for the desperate addict through the gospel by showing that the Bible’s message incorporates a theme that is bursting with hope.

This is a series of 8 sermons preached at The Manger Care Centre in Benoni. It puts forward some biblical perspectives on addictions. In this series I leaned heavily on the work of the respected Dr. Edward T. Welch in his excellent book "Addictions—A Banquet in the Grave" (P&R).
