Don't Waste Your Marriage 2

There are ten ways that men can waste their marriage.

1. If you fail to see what God has in store for you, Rom 8:28-29. Your wife will bring out the worst in you so that you can die to yourself.
2. If you fail to see it was designed by God to model the marriage of Christ to the Church, Eph 5:32.
3. If you fail to see it was intended by God to represent the gospel, I Pt.
4. If you fail to see your mate's physical defects and character flaws are God-given ministerial opportunities to develope, I Cor 7:14.
5. If you view yourself as a victim of wrong choice, Eph 1:11.
6. If you think you can be more effective serving the Lord independent of your mate.
7. If you fail to understand that answered prayer depends on the honor and reverence you give to your wife, I Pt 3:7.
8. If you squander your time on carnal indulgences, Mt 7:26-27.
9. If you live out your role as husband without the Holy Spirit, Eph 5:16.
10. If you fail to live it out for the glory of God, Ps 34:3-4.
