The Purpose of Life

There are three critical doctrines that must be held in order for a church to be reformed: 1) a Calvinistic view of salvation; 2) a covenantal view of Scripture; 3) worship according to the regulative principle.

If your theology doesn't lead you to doxology, something is wrong. If you can't doxologize because of the truth of the Bible, then one of three things is wrong: your theology is wrong; your heart is wrong; or your mind is hindered or incapable.

Paul doxologizes in this grand way: from God are all things and all things have their existence because of Him; through God are all things; and from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.

There is nothing outside of God's plan; to Him are all things. When we think of these amazing truths, what is the only response we can have? Doxology!
