Ben May Have Heard the Gospel for the First Time

Tony and Donnie Johnson engaged in sign evangelism and cross-walking on Locust Street, in Davenport, IA. While at the intersection with Lincoln Avenue, a man named Ben approached Tony.

Ben thanked Tony for being out doing "the Lord's work." As usual, Tony translated Ben's words to mean: "Share the gospel with me."

As you will hear in the audio, Ben could not articulate the gospel. And, based on Ben's less-than-enthusiastic response to hearing the gospel, this conversation may have been the first time Ben ever heard the true gospel.
