Not by horses and Not by chariots

In a long and difficult series of engagements; Joshua and the Israelites seize control of the northern area of Canaan. They face a mighty united army who is dead set on destroying Israel, but God blesses His people again; and they come out victorious.
Their many victories were not accomplished by the strength of men. The enemy had strong horses and fast chariots, but it could not deliver them from the Justice of God. Israel was commanded not to trust in these things, but only in the faithfulness of God to fight for them.
