Gabriel Explains the 70 Weeks

Daniel had been studying the book of Jeremiah (most likely Jeremiah 25) and realized that the 70 years' captivity was almost at an end. He began praying for forgiveness and during Daniel's high priestly prayer, "the man" Gabriel arrives to explain the situation to Daniel. This is the only section in all of Scripture that deals with the 70 weeks period.
