A Great Woman: How She Became Great

The Shunammite woman mentioned in this chapter was a woman in a time of religious declension when the hybrid and apostate religion of Bethel and Dan was in full swing and she served the Lord and helped the Lord's prophet. In verse 8 of the chapter she is described as 'A great woman'. She is a great example to all the ladies and indeed to each one of us. So today we are going to look at this Shunammite and some of the reasons why she was called 'great'.
