Rebuilding the Wall - Part C

Nehemiah sets his mind to perform the task of building the wall. His example is one of great importance as it is written especially for our direction. His reconstruction passion is to be our reconstruction passion. If the wall is broken there can be no defense and no place of refuge. He is resolved to undertake the work and to complete it to the glory of God and for the good of his people.

Nehemiah is a man of both prayer and faith. He trusts not in his own wisdom or strength, but asks God to supply for all his needs, as he knows that he is undertaking an impossible task. Yet, Nehemiah is prepared. He has been providentially groomed for this moment. Throughout his life God was preparing him. Now the time has come for him to galvanize the people and build.
