The Persevering Christian

Paul understands how challenging the Christian life is. The struggles we face can often lure us to slow down in our pursuit of Christ or give up altogether. Here Paul reminds Timothy that he is to be a proclaimer of the gospel with his tongue and a protector of the gospel by the way he lives. Timothy is to keep the commandment until he sees the eagerly expected glorious return of the Lord.
