1099 God's Wish List Pt-4&5

This two part message continues to examine details of why God gave us a way to prove that our efforts in pleasing Him are what He desires. Not just in a general sense but moment by moment in our daily lives and interactions with each other.
No doubt that if we were God we would have done things different than He has. From Adam and Eve to holding a green light for us because we are running late our individual opinions and desires shape our conclusions of how to improve on all creation. Not only that but our thoughts of right and wrong are a major flaw in our decisions, that's why were told in Proverbs 16:25, "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death'. Added to this Isaiah wrote, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways, my ways, saith the LORD", (see 55:11).
The warnings couldn't be clearer. But unfortunately this isn't even considered in church doctrine. The assumption is that even though many disagree with us, we are right and to support their beliefs they offer long lists of be-causes that offer scripture, logic, need, customs and the pastor says. It is like children arguing over what to get mom for Christmas instead of asking her, and so they all get her something different.
